Hello,
My Danish wife and I have been living in Sweden for about a month now, she has her Swedish Personnummer and found a job and everything, so we're going to apply for my oppholdskort before my tourist visa runs out at the end of the month. Our plan is to then move back to Denmark as soon as we can.
We visited Migrationsverket today to ask them about the application forms that we should fill out, and they gave me different forms than the forms I found on ÆUG. Here are the links to the forms that they gave me:
http://www.migrationsverket.se/download ... 011_en.pdf
http://www.migrationsverket.se/download ... 239011.pdf
http://www.migrationsverket.se/download ... 021_en.pdf
However, the form that I was able to find through ÆUG was different, here's the link:
http://www.migrationsverket.se/download ... 011_en.pdf
and the Swedish version:
http://www.migrationsverket.se/download ... 011_sv.pdf
It looks like the people at Migrationsverket wanted me to apply for some kind of more permanant residency, whereas what I've been finding on this website is just an application for a residence card... Does it matter which forms I fill out? Should I just print out the form for the Residence Card, fill it in, and submit it instead of the papers they gave me? What's the difference between the forms?
Any help is appreciated, thanks!
Which forms to fill out at Migrationsverket
Re: Which forms to fill out at Migrationsverket
Hmm... when i was at Migrationsverket, I just got the forms from them.. why don't you just fill those?
also from what i know, despite your intentions being to move back to Dk, you'd still hv to apply for the residence permit unless you're looking to extend your tourist visa? i'm no pro at this, just trying to be of some help
also you could always call their customer service line and ask, just do be warned that you'll be waiting for no less than 23 minutes on average and they don't always have answers to your questions,,, they have literally told me they did not know the answer to some questions i had, different post- however, here's their number: 0046-77123-5235
good luck!

Re: Which forms to fill out at Migrationsverket
I came to denmark on 60 days guest visa and we realized we cant apply for family reunification here because it is too complicated. We got married in Kazakhstan and my marriage certificate is in russian so it was translated and notirized in english. will it be accepted in sweden when we apply for residence card? it is legalizedin denmark thought
Can we apply for residence card first and only then register our marriage in sweden? as i m running out of time
thanks

Your spouse can register your marriage in DK, and when you move to Sweden this information will automatically pop up when your spouse contacts the Swedish authorities to register in Sweden (special rule for registration info exchange between the Nordic countries).
