I have refugee statut in Romania coming from Cameroon and will like to get some informations about getting married to a dane.
- I will like to know if i can get married in Denmark?
-Do I need a visa to visit Denmark or I can travel with my residence card and travel document?

Rumania is not member of Schengen, but if you have a valid 'Permis de sedere temporara' or another valid residence permit from Rumania, you do not need a visa to enter DK.

If you bring the necessary documents, which besides your passport and residence permit will be your birth certificate and a certificate stating that you are unmarried, probably both one from Cameroon and one from Rumania if possible, you should be able to get married in DK.

Let your fiancé(e) check with the local municipality office what documentation they want from you. All except passport and residence permit should be in Danish or English or translated to English, as well as legalized by the country which has issued the document. That is: Rumanian papers must be legalized by Rumanian authorities, Cameroon papers by Cameroon authorities.

Be aware that there may be a waiting time for 2-3 weeks between applying for permission to marry and obtaining the permission.
