Tuition Payments

Indlæg af Sunnyd3791 » 15.03.2013 07:17:28

Hey,

If we move back to Denmark under the EU rules and I obtain a 5 year residence card does this make me exempt from paying tuition at the University of Cph (I am an NON-EU citizen)? Is there any problem if my husband is a Dane in relation to being exempt from tuition?

The university has stated that IF i have a temporary residence permit that can be upgraded into a permanent permit I do not have to pay tuition.. will my residence permit be considered this?

I have tried contacting the university, but no one has been able to give me a straight answer on this situation :(

Also it is my understanding that I will be able to receive SU since my husband will be working full time in DK. Is this correct?

Thank you!

The residence card can be upgrated to a permanent residence permit after 5 years, so you don't have to pay any tuition fees.

And I am almost certain that you can also receive SU, because your husband is working.
Maybe ask your husband to read this: http://www.su.dk/SU/betingelser/udenlan ... /Gift.aspx
