well, we just didnt know when is the best time to apply in denmark. is it best if we continue living there for another 6 months? would it help if i started work there? my husband is still commuting from frederiskhavn to goteborg 3 times a week.
thats way it is not very clear to me how long i should stay there and would it beneit if i found a work?

I did not remember, that your husband is working in Frederikshavn. That is quite an unusual situation, and only serve to reinforce my recommendation to stay in Sweden, until you get a "yes" from Udlændingestyrlsen, since you also have to deal with some degree of uncertainty as to, how Udlændingestyrelsen will view this situation.

I will recommend, that your husband sign up with the swedish arbejdsformidling (don`t know english word for this) and actively look for a job in Sweden, since this will serve to strenghen the argument, that he did not plan from the beginning a very short term stay.

His story should be something like this:

"I wanted to move to Sweden in order to be able to live with my spouse. To support myself and my spouse, I continued to work for my danish employer, even though the distance was very large. This was of course unsustainable in the long run, and therefore I tried to find a new job in Sweden, more close to our home.

I applyed xxx places (many), but after yyy month had to face the reality, that it was not easy to find a job in Sweden. Therefore we decided to move closer to my present job in Denmark, since it looked more and more like, I would need to keep that one in spite of the original plans to find a new job in Sweden".

The time to apply in Denmark, is when your husband can credibly present danish authorities with the above mentioned story. Of great importance will also be, if he has in any way kept his old apartment or house in Jylland. If that is the case, an application after only 3 month will definitly run the risk of being deemed a planned short term stay in Sweden only and not having genuinely moved there "for reel".

Hej Fundiver , Det er korrekt at jeg arbejder i frederikshavn,pendler 2 gange om ugen,arbejder 2 dage af 15 timer og rejser hjem
afstanden som du kalder stor,er ikke større end hvad en dansk fagforening forlanger i forhold til jøbsøgning,her skal man søge jobs op til 3 timer væk,hvilket er den samme distance jeg pendler,det kan heller ikke være rigtigt at vi alle skal rejse imellem malmø og københavn,desuden var der ingen problemer fra svensk side med mit pendleri til frederikshavn.
men ikke desto mindre,så vil vi arbejde på at gøre vores sveriges situation stærkere,der er ingen grund til at skabe mistanke hvis vi kan slippe for det.
min kone fik jo så sit opholdskort på 5 år i sverige og kan søge job i sverige,kan hun søge job i danmark??? hun har faktisk et job på hånden hvis hun vil.

If you are staying in Sweden on EU-rules all you need to do is apply.

a friend of mine applied for a swedih temporary residence card under eu rules, meanwhile she started working, not yet having card and cpr. but, she is registered in ministry of danish affairs, i cant understand how she can work, she said she can work in denmark living in sweden uder eu rules. who can explain me that?

Most likely with a Danish work permit. Ask your friend, she will know, others can only guess.

Unesco is an UN and international organisation. As it's UN she probably doesn't need a Danish work permit and she doesn't need to pay Danish tax on her income.

thank you for the link, as far as i understood part time job in the worst case would be enough to get permanent residence in sweden after my temporary expires. do i have to collect rental payslips all these years? and work payslips?

thanks for providing us with the information. It does not say anything on the swedish official site about documents required from my husband when i apply in the future for permanent residence in sweden. it only says about my rent agreement and employment certificate. will my husband need to include his employment certificate as well?
we are changing our address and while getting a new apartment wont pay because we will be staying at friend's place ,so we wont pay a month or 2 and wont have any pay slips, will it be a problem when i apply for permenent card in 5 years time. Will we still have to collect payslips? and my husband's travelling tickets from job frederiskhavn gotheborg until he gets a job in gotheborg during 5 years?

Yes it is advicable to collect documentation, that your adress in Sweden has been genuine and not a scam one for all 5 years, and also about your financial situation. The yearly summarys from Skat showing the totale income for a whole year (årsopgørelser), will presumably suffice though, but its no harm to keep the payslips also.

i have a question. it says on official swedish web page in order to apply for permanent residence you have to have 4 years work out of 5, my question is what if it takes me more time to get a job and i will have only 2 or 3 years of having worked out 5
another question is i m from 3rd world country when i used to travel in the past i needed to be issued visa now since i have swedish eu residence card can i travel free to all eu countries and travel to my ex 3rd country and return here just showing my passport and eu card at the check in? do i always have to travel from sweden and return to sweden or with eu card i can travel back to any other eu country before sweden?

If you have an EU-residence card, it will be made permanent upon your application after 5 years. There is no conditions for that, except your having stayed in the same EU-country 5 years in a row.

If you have residence permit according to Swedish national rules (which you can apply for anytime, if you already have EU-residence card), and your spouse is a Nordic citizen (for example Danish), you may apply for permanent residence permit after 2 years in Sweden. Again no conditions.

With a EU-residence card + passport you may travel within Schengen and to certain other countries (check the relevant embassy info) without visa. Note that England wants visa whether you have EU-card or not. You may also travel for example to your home country and back to Sweden without visa.
