angående inslaget før dette vil jeg gerne vide om jeg ka stille amb til ansvar for det følgende, hvis
flyvebilleten var udstedt til den 26th sept med ankomst den 27th sept, og amb har udstedt visa til den 27th sept, og konen blev afvist ved boarding den 26th sept, jeg er nemlig blevet bedt om fra flyveselskabet at betale 50 euro for at skifte afrejse til den 27th sept

Det er flyselskabet, der er helt galt på den, og ikke ambassaden. Hvis flyet først ankommer i Schengen d. 27/9, så skal din kone også først bruge visum fra d. 27/9.

Så det er flyselskabet, du skal diskutere med, og ikke ambassaden. Når din kone er kommet hertil, så tag sammen hen til den danske afdeling af flyselskabet og fortæl om episoden, og bed om at få gebyret refunderet.

Episoden skal da også rapporteres, så de kan sørge for ordentlig oplæring af deres indcheckningspersonale. Forhåbentlig har din kone fået en kvittering på det beløb, hun har betalt, så det kan dokumenteres.

Så fik vi dette brev fra Flyselskabet som nægtede min kone adgang til at flyve den 26 når hendes visa startede 27th
Dear Ms. Agordo,
We duly received your mail of 3 October, 2010, and sincerely regret the inconveniences you encountered on your trip from Accra to Copenhagen via Brussels on 26/27 September, 2010.
We sincerely regret we were unable to accept you on board of flight SN259 of 26 September, 2010, as you travel documents appeared not to be in order (visa valid as from 27 September, 2010).
We must emphasize on the importance of all documents being in order before travelling. Not only is the airline fined for each passenger not adhering to the law, but also the passenger himself may be fined and be deported back to his country.
Please allow us to explain that the general conditions of transport stipulate that the passenger shall be solely responsible for complying with all laws, regulations, orders and travel requirements of countries to be flown from, into or over. The carrier (in this case Brussels Airlines) shall not be liable for any aid or information in connection with obtaining necessary documents or visas, or for the consequences to any passenger resulting from his failure to obtain such documents or visas.
Our General Conditions of Carriage stipulate:
"13. Administrative formalities
13.1. GENERAL
13.1.1.You are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents and visas and for complying with all laws, regulations, orders, demands and travel requirements of countries to be flown from, into or through which you transit.
13.1.2. We shall not be liable for the consequences to any passenger resulting from his or her failure to obtain such documents or visas or to comply with such laws, regulations, orders, demands, requirements, rules or instructions. We shall not be liable for any assistance or information given by any of our agents or employees to you or any other passenger in connection with obtaining necessary documents or visas or complying with such laws, regulations, directives, demands and requirements whether given in writing or otherwise.
13.2. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Prior to travel, you must present all entry, exit, health and other documents required by law, regulation, order, demand or other requirement of the countries concerned, and permit us to take and retain copies thereof. We may verify these documents and refuse carriage if you have not complied with these requirements, or your travel documents do not appear to be in order. A refund on the Ticket may be refused in case of fraud in the chief of the passenger.
13.3. REFUSAL OF ENTRY
If you are denied entry into any country, you will be responsible to pay any fine or charge assessed against us by the Government concerned and for the cost of transporting you from that country. The fare collected for carriage to the point of refusal or denied entry will not be refunded by us.
13.4. PASSENGER RESPONSIBLE FOR FINES, DETENTION COSTS, ETC.
If we are required to pay any fine or penalty or to incur any expenditure by reason of your failure to comply with laws, regulations, orders, demands or other travel requirements of the countries concerned or to produce the required documents, you shall reimburse us on demand, any amount so paid or expenditure so incurred. We may apply towards such payment or expenditure the value of any unused carriage on your ticket or any of your funds in our possession.
7.1. RIGHT TO REFUSE CARRIAGE
In the reasonable exercise of our discretion, we may refuse to carry you or your Baggage if we have notified you in writing that we would not at any time after the date of such notice carry you on our flights. We may also refuse to carry you or your baggage if one or more of the following have occurred or we reasonably believe may occur:
7.1.12. you do not appear to have valid travel documents, may seek to enter a country through which you may be in transit, or for which you do not have valid travel documents, ... ".
Investigation of the reservation file brought forward that you had duly been advised on immigration rules and advised to begin the journey on 27 September, 2010, as the visa is valid as from 27 September, 2010.
As such, we cannot reply favourably to your request for refund of the reservation change fee you had to pay.
Please also allow us to inform you that after you made a mistake with the date for your return flight, our representatives made the change free of charge as an exception and a commercial gesture.
We again apologize for the inconveniences caused and for the negative impression we have given you on this occasion.

Nu ska hun flyve hjem den 24th december, hvordan kan jeg forlænge hendes visa med 3 dage så hun kan flyve den 27th

Det kan hun ikke, med mindre akut sygdom e.l. forhindrer hende i at rejse. Men var det ikke meningen, at hun skulle søge opholdstilladelse i Danmark?
