Is it a good idea to apply for student visa after rejections of family reunification and tourist visas?

After the new rules for family reunification come into force can i still apply family reunification on the basis of my son, he is going to be 6 year old in march 2019.
Is it possible?

It would probably be rejected for the same reason as your tourust visa application: they suspect you do not intend to leave, when you visa expires.

And further: due to the new restrictions on education, you may not even be eligible for further education, even if you pay for it yourself.

If your son should be of any concern, he should be 6 this year and have entered into the school system.

He is going to be six in march 2019 and start his school at the same time.

To answer your question about restrictions on education, I need to know what education you have from Denmark?

I had started a degree in bachelor in 2015 but was not able to complete it. So i left after 2 semesters.

And i did Masters in business administration in 2010 from my home country.

Yes, if you can wait one year for applying, once your son is 6, he will have an established connection to Denmark that you may use to keep a residence permit.

OK, if you did not complete your bachelor, you may be eligible for re-registration in the same programme. The rules for that are not the same at all universities, but I think they all would request an e-mail or a letter from you.
If your bachelor programme was related to your foreign master’s programme, you may at the same time apply for ‘merit’ for up to one semester’s worth of classes.
