permanent stay vs Divorce

Hallo and thanks for taking your time to read all that i have to say, my main point of inquiery is mainly forcused on the fact that i just got my permanent stay and have agreed to get a divorce with my soon to be ex-wife, however i would like to know if i should go ahead and get the divorce papers right away or if i should hold on since i just recieved the permanent stay and that it was based on our marriage. your advice will be highly appreciated . have a great evening.

Permanent residence means that you are no longer 'bound' to your spouse, and there is no reason to delay a divorce.
