Justice Ministry took our side :-)

Indlæg af KaspOlg » 08.04.2013 10:51:43

Hello everybody!
Just got my residence permission under EU-rules last week)) still happy as hell :D
So our appeal to Justice Ministry ended up with a positive decision  It took them 10 months (not 7, as it stands in the letter).

We wish good luck and patience to everyone, who is just applying or already appealing. Let the love win! ))))

congratulations ..at last we hear that ,so called danish democratic laws, are in the favor of someone ..but would u mind telling us what happened ? why u did not apply for family Renufication in Denmark and why u went to another country before coming to denmark ? is that because one of you is not 24 old or what ?

Yes, first of all we were both under 24 years old. Besides, it was the time, when Dansk Folkeparty ruled, and their new requirements for the Fam. reunification under Danish rules started to work - like point system and 100,000 DKK payment. So we didn't have any other option.

congratulations and if i were you i would have stayed in the country u were in before coming again to dk..it will be better for u as a forgeiner especially sweden where people are equal and where foreigneres are respected..in dk life is so black for non danes coz of the racist laws wherever u go,starting from the street to the job market and no matter what ur competences are ..imagine even the visa now they make it harder instead of getting an answer after 1 week now u need 3 months ..a big shame..this gouverenment or the previous one are 2 facades of one coin .

Karim, thank u very much for ur replies and congrats :-)
probably, living in Sweden is easier in some ways, but in 9 months, that we lived there, neither me, nor my husband got to love this country. I can tell u more - we faced such a stupidity in several authorities, that in the end we can't wait to move from there.
Besides, I hate swedish language, but i like a danish one, I'm learning it very quick because i have a huge wish.
When we lived in Malmo, I couldn't find any job at all, there was simply nothing. When we moved to DK, I found a good job almost in my specialization (i'm an economist) just in 1 month (when u apply under EU-rules, u can work while u r waiting, and i took that risk).
If not considering immigrant rules, I've not felt any racism towards myself here - all danes i've met r nice people and i hope it gonna remain the same. I can't say the same about Sweden, I think it's redicilous when u phone to some company/authority and they refuse to speak English to u, saying that u r in Sweden, u shall speak swedish! Stuff like that never happend to me in Dk :-)
I could say much more, but the point is that of course it's disgusting that we need to suffer like that to get an opportunity to stay in our spouses' country, but if forget about it, I feel more comfortable in Dk as my husband is too of course; Sweden wasn't just our place.
And I also know, if we decided to live in my country of origin, getting the residence permission for my husband would be even worse, than in Dk.

If u live in Sweden and like it, I'm happy for u and wish u all the best there
