I am a non-EU temporary resident in Denmark under family reuinification. My resident permit expires March 31, and I am not planning on renewing it since my reasons for being in Denmark will no longer be valid due to divorce.
I have grounds for an immediate divorce, but if I do that, does my permit lapse immediately after the divorce is granted?
If I decide to file a separation, am I allowed to remain in Denmark at another address during that period if my current residence permit lapses?
Because of ongoing medical treatment, I'd like to find out the timing of these things before making any decision.
