Permanent stay (5 years rule)

Indlæg af cphdweler » 03.12.2014 11:50:08

Hi all,
I have almost 10 months left to fulfil the 5 years condition(though I fulfil the rest of the conditions required by the immigration office) needed for a permanent residence. However, I don t want to wait that long and I wonder if i could apply now knowing that I would have lived in dk for 7 years if I counted my previous marriage(I have a child that I see on weekends). I also have kids in my current marriage.
Can still apply for permanent residence? If not, can I ask for a dispensation for that 5 years rule?.
Looking forwards to hear from you all.

Kind regards

You can hand in the application 2-3 month in advance but not 10 month in advance. The 5 year requirement is absolute and without exceptions. Look at Nyidanmark for exact information about how and when to apply.
