processing time in PR permit

Hi,

I am filling the forms for my PRship. The immigration website says that it takes maximum 7 months to process the PR application. I would like to know that what is the minimum time frame. and what can one do to strengthen the chances of getting the PR as soon as possible. I mean what all documents are a must to be attached. I guess if the documentation is absolutely upto the mark then PR can come sooner also.

has anyone got his/her PR sooner than 7 months.?

I can't answer your question, but as far as I know you should apply for both PR and an extension of the present one. Just in case.
