Ended period as au pair

Anyone? When an au pair period ends and the person leaves back home to the phillies after two years, is she then able to come back immediately after, if invited on a touristvisa?

The practice has been that one will have to wait 3 months before being allowed a visa, but it is questionable whether this practice has any legal ground.

I think that question is one that still is unanswered.
