Hi
I've been a Tanzanian student at UCN Ålborg for one year. Since I'm from a non-EU nation, I pay 55.000 kr/ semester as tution fees.
But I'm married to a girl from Romania and We've lived together for 1.5 years now in Denmark. I was wondering if can I get free education since I'm married to EU-Citizen. All EU students study for free in Denmark.
I tried to Inquire the same from various sources but I did not get any precise information regarding law for free education for a non-EU student who is married to an EU-Citizen. Please let me know if anyone has any knowledge about it.
Kind regards
Parth

Re: Free Education Under EU law
You need to go to Statsforvaltningen and get issued a residence card as the spouse of an EU-citizen. Then you can study for free in DK. And also recieve SU, if your spouse is working (and thereby paying taxes) in Denmark.
