SU = public assistance? (extension of residence permit)

Dear all,

I would like to ask a question since I am about to extend my residence permit based on the family reunification here in DK.

The form asks a question whether I have or have not received public assistance based on the social politic law (?? not sure) or Integration Law.

The one thing that I would like to ask is that whether SU can be categorized as a public assistance? Since I got it based on the Integration Law when I started my master degree study in Technical University of Denmark (DTU).

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

PS: I understand Danish perfectly, it is just that I am not that confident in writing the whole thing in the language so you are welcomed to answer me in Danish.

No, SU is not categorised as public assistance, so this should not affect the extention of your residence permit.
