Hello everybody, I would like to say that it is a great website and I should have found it earlier. Sorry for writing in english but it is much easier for me to express the words. I found out that there are so many of you guys have gotten a turkish husband/boyfriend. And there are so many things that you have to get through. I´m in the same situation, I´ve known my boyfriend when I was on holiday with one of my girlfriend in 2005. He is originally from Malatya but working in alanya. We kept in touch since then but I kept my relationship secret. It made me feel sorry to hear people talk negative about turkish people because it doesn´t matter where you go in the world, it will be also bad and good people, right? I tried to tell my friends that I have a boyfriend in turkey, and most of them said it is such a bad idea. So, I´ve not talked much about my relationship with them. But now we are considering to get marry and I told my friends about the plan. As what I have guessed, they are all againts it. They said that I possibly can get marry but I will not be able to get him here to live with me as I am not a danish citizen. There are not much support I can get from my friends so I have to do the reserch myself.
I´m holding a resident permit (permanent), so I can get marry with my boyfriend, right?
Are there any others way that I can get him to stay with me in Denmark?
Thinking about once we get children, it would be better to live in here.
Are there any disadventages for my PR, if I go to stay with him in Turkey many times a year?
I´m going to turkey again in Feb. I miss him so much and we will see what we can do. My friends said that I must think with my head, not heart, but sorry I can´t!!!
