Jeg kan se, at http://www.denmarkvac-tr.com/allaboutyourvisas.html som behandler visumansøgninger for tyrkiske statsborgere nu oplyser (helt til sidst), at manglende opfyldelse af kravet om 46 euro/dag, der søges visum til, ikke vil medføre at ansøgning automatisk afvises:

"Note: Applicants applying for short-term visas (up to 90 days), who do not have private accommodation, should provide proof of a bank credit balance of the equivalent of at least 46 Euro per day of the total number of days they intend to stay in Denmark. If a reference guarantees the applicant’s accommodation as well as financial support during the stay in Denmark, this amount will not be required. However, the applicant must still prove that he/she has financial means to cover basic needs during his/her stay in Denmark. It should be emphasized that filing an application without providing proof of the 46 Euro/day will not automatically result in a refusal of the application."

Ja ÆUG´s brev til visumansøgningskontorene, som vi sendte for cirka 6 uger siden, har tydeligvis medført det ønskede resultat, også selvom vi aldrig fik noget svar på vores henvendelse. Men det er jo også ligegyldigt. Det vigtige er, at reglerne nu bliver fuldt, og at ansøgerne ikke længere bliver vildledt, bare fordi de søger i Tyrkiet
