My Partner and i are expecting a baby in june and we want to travel to Denmark after she is born by July to visit family and to Baptize her.
My Partner is a Danish citizen and i am a South African woman. Does any one know if we need to process a new passport for our baby or can she be placed in her Fathers Passport? Here in South Africa, babys are not allowed to be placed into the same passport as their parents.

PLEASE HELP US WITH ANY INFORMATION OR LINKS TO WHERE WE CAN LOOK.

TAK

Unfortunately children needs their own passports now, so you cant have it done in a Danish passport either.

Delfinus is right. Our little boy is one year old and he travels on his own passport.
I dont know where you are in the world but you can go to the nearest Danish representation and they can issue a Danish passport for your child and there will be no problem. When the parent is a Danish citizen the child can inherit the citizenship no matter where it is born in the world.
