Separation inquiry
Hi everyone a while ago I wrote a while ago about devorce and separation. However right now my wife and I are agreeing to a separation till we figure out what's best for us. My inquiry therefore is in relation to if I can live at a separate address under my names without it affecting my residence permit that I have till 2017 and then I can apply for a permanent stay. We have agreements on how often I should see the kids and and what kind of relationship we want. I have been here since 2010.

Re: Separation inquiry
The answer is the same as you got back in February:
"Depending on what decision you come to about the children, you may have a chance of residence permit because you have children in DK.
If you can agree on continued shared custody, and on as a minimum 'ordinary visitation rights' (every second weekend + holidays for the older children, for the youngest perhaps shorter but oftener in the beginning) for the parent with whom the children do not live together, there is a fair chance that you will be given residence permit in order for your children to be able to have contact with both of their parents."
So yes, you can move to another address, but must inform the authorities. They may then send you a letter asking whether you can give any reasons why they should not revoke your residence permit. Your answer to that is that you have children and share (I suppose) the custody with your spouse, and have regular visitation rights which are equal to or more than 'ordinary'.

Re: Separation inquiry
Got another burning inquiry . I called nyidanmark today and asked if I could move out b4 the separation is finalised. Get my own place and start living separately, the person I spoke to said I can do that then inform the authorities and then I will start the process of a new visa for me to stay here. However I need to know how does this process affect my job and school as a tømrer lærling. Do I continue or do i stop from qork and school since I will have no visa due to separation...

Re: Separation inquiry
Since your residence is valid UNTIL it is cancelled, you continue as usual. It is not cancelled until you get a letter that clearly says it is (but you still have to send your application for the new one immediately when you move).
Most likely it will not be cancelled until you get the new one.
