Moving to someone in Sweden — a web guide
These rules apply to you if
... you are a citizen of a country outside the EU or the EEA and
... your relative is a citizen of an EU or EEA country and lives in or is moving to Sweden
... and your relationship is one of the following:
•You are married
•You are registered domestic partners
or
•You were or are living together as de facto spouses.
(In this context, Swedish citizens are not counted as EU/EEA citizens.)
Rules
You may apply for a permit after you have entered Sweden, but you must apply within three months after you enter the country. You have the right to start working immediately after you arrive, even if your permit has not been issued yet.
If you need a visa to come to Sweden, you must apply for one at a Swedish embassy or consulate.
Where do you submit your application?
You must submit your application in person or send it by post to a Migration Board Unit. You may also submit your application to a Swedish embassy or a Swedish consulate before you come to Sweden.
Which form should you use?
You should fill out Form 145 011: Application for residence card. You can download the form here on the website or get one from a Swedish embassy or consulate or any Migration Board Permit Unit.
What other documents do you need?
Enclose with your application:
•Valid passport
•Certificate showing that you are married or registered domestic partners
•For de facto spouses: population registration certificate, rent/lease agreement or bill of sale for home, or other document which proves that you have a joint household
•Copy of your relative´s registration certificate or permanent residence permit.
•Two recent passport photos.
Also enclose documents that show your relative in Sweden still has a right of residence, for example, through proof of employment or a bank statement which shows sufficient funds.
How much does it cost?
The application is free.
Case investigation
After the Migration Board receives your application, we will send a questionnaire to your relative in Sweden. The questions are about your relationship and must be answered within four weeks. The purpose of the investigation is to determine identity, family status, and how long the relationship has existed. Sometimes we need more information and we may either ask your relative to come in for an interview at the Migration Board or else call him or her and ask the questions over the phone.
Who makes the decision?
The Migration Board decides. If you have already come to Sweden, we will send the decision to the address you gave on your application. If you are still in your country of origin, you will get the decision from the embassy or consulate where you submitted your application.
If your application is approved
You will receive a residence card (a plastic card) that shows you have a right of residence in Sweden.
If you are going to live in Sweden for less than one year, you will not be entered in the population register. That means that you will not have the right to social benefits and you should find out what insurance you may need.
Extension
The residence card will normally be valid for five years if you live in Sweden and meet the conditions for a residence card. After you have lived in Sweden legally with a right of residence for five years without interruption, you will have permanent right of residence. If you want proof of your permanent right of residence, you may apply for a permanent residence card at any Migration Board Permit Unit.
If your application is rejected
Decisions to deny a residence card cannot be appealed. If you are not granted a residence card, you may instead apply for a residence permit on the grounds of family ties, under Swedish national regulations. Go to the page Moving to someone in Sweden for more information.
Do you need more information?
Contact the nearest Swedish embassy or consulate in your country or any Migration Board Permit Unit in Sweden.
svensk national regler
Re: svensk national regler

Re: svensk national regler
okay....tak for svaret.
Re: svensk national regler
Hej,
