Hi everyone.

I found this site vary helpful, I have some questions, I shall be vary much thankful if some body help me, I am a Danish citizen moving to Sweden, so do i need any paper from my kommune in Denmark, like paper of change of address?? or just passport and house contract is enough?? bcz some body told me that you also need that paper form Denmark kommune,
my other question is I am also applying a resident card for my boyfriend in Sweden, and they says that u should have good income, basically I just left my job in Denmark and starting my studies in Copenhagen in september, so I will live in malmø and study in Copenhagen, I will get SU which will be about 5000 dkk and also i can apply for student loan which can be 3500dkk, so its total 8500, which is I think enough for our expences, I also have 50000dkk in my account which we can also use.
so still they will ask for the job or more income???? I think its quite a lot of money to survive, Please can any one explain me these questions vary well, bcz i want to give full attention to my studies and it should be difficult for me to do a job also. hope some one can give me some good suggestion and solve my problem.

best regards.

Sounds like you have enough money to survive but I noticed you use the term boyfriend. To use EU law you need to prove that you have been cohabiting for the past 18 months OR that you are married to each other. You cant apply as boyfriend/girlfriend unless you have been living together already for at least the past 18 months.

ya vary soon we are going to marry when we move to malmø, but my question is that my current income is enough or no, like my SU, student loan and the money which I have???? I shall be thankful for your kind advice.

It depends on how much your living expenses will be. Like for instance how much you pay for housing. The authorities will make an individual assessment.

In general it can be said that you have enough money if you have 6.300 SEK left every month to pay for food, clothing, and the like.

If you have a substantial amount in the bank that will be taken into account as well.

So as long as you find cheap housing and as long as you get married before applying, I think you will be okay, provided you also take the study grant loan which will be counted as an income.
