Hi. Im Jeazell.
I want to ask something about the paper work that i need to do or do i have to?
Me and my danish fiance are planning to get married soon.
And because of rules here in DK,i cant stay ..
Luckily i found this site and i got some answers from reading forums here..
So,were thinking bout moving to Germany for 10 weeks..
Im confused cos im only holding a tourist visa now..
And im allowed to stay til Jan 4 only.
How can i stay legally? Or extend my stay?
Do i need to apply family reunification in Germany?
thank you so much :)

Hi Jeazel

Congratulations on the wedding plans. :-)

Sadly you will not be allowed to extend your stay in Denmark, the authorities are very strict about that.

And about moving to Germany, there are two problems with your plans:
The first and most important is, that Germany will not let you apply for EU-family visa from within Germany, only from your home country.
(It's not legal, but they don't care about that.)

Secondly, it seems 10 weeks will probably not be enough anymore, you will need to stay there for three months at least.

My best advice is, that if you and your fiancee want to get married, do it now, if you at all can. Then start the move to Germany.
When your visa expires, travel back to the Philippines, and start applying for EU-family visa. Then you can come back to Germany, when you get that.

There are other people here that knows more about moving to Germany, it will be a good idea to ask them about procedures.
But what I just told, seems to be the general rules, if you want to succeed.

Btw, about papers: You will need a Cenomar to show the authorities, do you have that?
Otherwise you will need to get that ASAP, and it can only be done in the Philippines. Maybe, if you are lucky, the authorities will accept that your family gets it for you, and fax or email it here, but you will need to ask them.

Kind regards
Henrik

and you problably need to get the cenomar legallized at DFA and then at the danish consulate in either Manila or Cebu

Hi Jeazell

Wow, nice to hear! :-)

Congrats :-)

I'm happy I could help :-)

About Germany, you can start to apply as soon as you are back in the Philippines (provided your husband lives in Germany already).

This application has nothing to do with Schengen visa, this application is for family unification with a EU citizen spouse. So there's no waiting period on that.

Henrik

Hi there. Me and my husband are already married now.hehehe.. Its' almost 9 months. We're both in Philippines now. Our plan is to go to Denmark then move to Sweden together this year.

My danish husband don't have job right now so he's thinking about applying for a job seeker in Sweden and ask help from the UNION for money support. (its not governtment)..

Do you think it's ok? it wouldn't make a problem if i go back in DK with him after some months just because of this help?

Does anyone here knows about some Sweden job sites? Hoping that someone can help. hehehe..

It didn't work for us to Germany cos i need to go back to Philippines again to apply. Evnthough we're here, we still need something for the rent. etc etc

Wishing that this time we can fix this together cos its hard not being with him. We cant start any future plans for not being together :(

Thanks in advance :D

If your husband has been paying to his unemployment insurance, he can apply for unemployment support and take this money for a period up to 3 months, while he is looking for work in Sweden.

He should, however, be very careful about planning your stay, and read all the information he can find under these links:

Finding a job in Sweden is not easy, but on the other hand working 10-12 hours/week at an average salary will be enough to make him 'employee' according to the EU-rules. Working 16 hours at a gas-station during week-ends would be more than enough, for example.

If you are asking for a CENOMAR, there 2 ways to get it.
1. You can order it online through the NSO online services
or
2. If your parents have power of atty. in the Philippines, they can request it from the NSO and send it to the DFA (for red ribbon) and send it to you. It is supposed to be ready for use abroad but somehow some "Kommunes" are not aware of this and might request additional stamping at the Danish Consulate - for 500 DKK per document

Thank you abby,
I took me some month to get my certificate and cenomar and also to get stamped by the dfa. My sister and brother helped me a lot. Since ive been illegal in denmark and somehow we found out how to get a chance in sweden to have some kind of future for me and my boyfriend together. My question is, what other papers do i need aside from these two and, i dont know any websites that tells the the details of marriaqe requirements of a pinay in my situation. I would also like to know if i need any kind of stamp aside from dfa. thank you again.
