Help regarding Certificate of no impediment

I hope i will get some help here.

I am an Indian and living in Denmark since 7 years. I met an Ukranian girl almost 2 years ago and now after our meetings and living together for sometime we decided to get married next year. When i got to know that if i want to marry my GF in Ukraine i have to submit "Certificate of no impediment" that states i am still single and never got married. I would like to marry her in Ukraine as she is 21.

As i am living and working in Denmark since 7 years should i have to get this certificate here (DK) or from India?

You can go and ask 'borgerservice' if they can and will give you a 'civilstandsattest' - it is free to ask. If they say that they will need to see documentation from India first, then you'll have to get it. Most likely Ukraine would like to see documentation both from India and from Denmark anyway.

You and your girlfriend can marry in Denmark, if you think that will make things easier - the (in)famous 24-year old rule does NOT mean that you may not marry in Denmark if you are a foreigner under 24, it means that you as a general rule will not be permitted to live in Denmark with your spouse.

If your girlfriend comes to Denmark as a tourist, you may marry in Denmark - you should be aware that the process may take several weeks, though, so plan for a longish stay.

If your plan is to live together in Denmark you may have a problem, unless you belong to one of the categories of foreigners who can get their spouses to Denmark without fulfilling all the usual criteria (for example you are a medical doctor or an IT-specialist).
