“ What if I split from my partner during our time residing in the EU?
The Withdrawal Agreement protects non-EU spouses who divorce from an EU citizen. If you have been married for at least three years before you initiated divorce proceedings and have lived in the host EU state for at least one year before the initiation of divorce proceedings, you can continue to reside in the EU. There are also exceptions available for cases in which you retain joint or full custody of children, are the victim of spousal abuse, or as stipulated by a court order.”
So your soon-to-be ex spouse is issuing empty threats. Do contact an attorney, if your income is less than 348.000 kr/year, you have a right to ‘fri proces’, which means you don’t have to pay the attorney, the State does. DO NOT use one that your spouse use, find your own. The attorney will help you apply for ‘fri proces’. Find a law firm here: https://www.danskefamilieadvokater.dk/

Re: Please help me about my visa and divorce
Please anyone admin reply from my above post.
Re: Please help me about my visa and divorce
Under EU law, it is not a problem to receive money from a-kasse. This can only become an issue if applying under national Danish law.
Re: Please help me about my visa and divorce
So after divorce if i had to apply for permanent visa it is going to come under Danish law or under EU law because my ex wife has been uk citizen.and under EU law after how ling i can get passport in Denmark.
Re: Please help me about my visa and divorce
Your residence card is given under EU laws. But citizenship is not governed by EU laws, it is governed by national law. So you will have no trouble to stay in Denmark under EU laws but you might be in trouble to gain Danish citizenship if that is your goal.

Re: Please help me about my visa and divorce
As I stated in my first answer your wife cannot cancel your visa. And do contact an attorney. As stated in my first answer you are mist likely entitled to a free attorney. Any decent law firm will help you with the application for ‘fri proces’, and they do not charge you for that.

Thank you again all admins ; this forum is really helpful.
As i came from non EU.So keeping the residence card under EU laws here in Denmark ; its been 3 years and 6 months for me.how can one go for citizenship i mean the whole life is like just having residence card under EU laws or if someone do PD2-PD3 and other test here for citizenship and 9 years of residency.what is the route to get citizenship then one who is living in Denmark under EU rules.
And is getting dagpenge 2 years problem for getting cirizenship of Denmark ?
And if i gets divorced is it compulsory to inform SIRI ?and then they will issue me new residence card or will i be allowed to continuing have this i have currently now.i got current card after biometrice almost 5-6 months back
My main purpose to ask is can i get danish citizenship in future if i continue my life here and do language and citizenship test and have contract or employement and if i take 2 years dagpenge then how it can affect ??

Re: Please help me about my visa and divorce
You do not have to inform SIRI about the divorce, they get that information automatically.
You just continue with the residence card you have. IF you should get a letter regarding it, do ask help again.
Once your residence is permanent, that is: 5 years after you first got registered as legal resident under EU-rules, you may apply for Danish citizenship IF you fulfil all other conditions. But the first, permanent residence, you will fulfil sooner than one who has residence according to Danish national rules.

Re: Please help me about my visa and divorce
If i gets permanent under EU laws here in Denmark.what can be the condition for next renewal of permanent card ? I mean are there work requirements or something like this or language of here ? Permanent card means that can not be cancelled in any case and should be renewed or there are few conditions ?
