Hi
With danish residence you can travel in Schengen area without visa for 30 days is that right?
And if I start working in Sweden and live in Sweden can I still keep my permanent residence by coming often so I don’t break 2 year away rule?

Re: Travel
You can travel for 90 days to each country within the Schengen area.
In order to maintain a residence in Sweden, you will need to spend at least 180 days and nights at your residence within every year.
You will loose your Danish residence permit once you move to Sweden and have kept your address in Sweden for more than 24 months. So 24 months after you have de-registered in Denmark, you will loose your Danish permanent residence permit.
In other words: You cannot keep an official address in both Denmark and Sweden simultanously. You will have to choose. But of course unofficially, you can keep your house, flat, etc. in either country.

thanks for the reply. Can I work in sweden with danish cpr and PR? that way I can keep my address in dk but work in sweden
Re: Travel
No, a Danish work and residence permit is only valid for Denmark. Only Nordic and EU/EEA citizens are allowed to work in Sweden without requiring a work permit.
Re: Travel
P.S. I don't know your reasons for wanting to move to Sweden. But if you wish to move there in order to work or in order to get a residence card for a family member, you can do so easily – just keep in mind that you need to move back to Denmark within 24 months from the time you moved away from Denmark in order to keep your Danish permanent residence permit.
Re: Travel
Thanks for the reply. I was offered a job that pays bit more and I just don’t want to risk moving and again start from beginning to get permanent residence. Can I go and work for 20 months and move back again then I wouldn’t loose my permit.
Re: Travel
Yes, as long as you return within a certain time frame, you will be fine and can keep your permanent residence permit.
Please bear in mind, the time frame given depends on which type of permanent residence you currently hold.
If it was given under national Danish law, it seems to be only 12 months. But if it was given under EU laws, then it is 24 months:

AND bear in mind that you have to apply to the authorities for dispensation from the rule that residence for more than 12 months in another country cancels your Danish residence permit.
Even Danish citizens have to apply for dispensation from being removed from 'Folkeregisteret' if they move to another country.
