Permanent residence under family reunification

Dear all,
I have a question regarding permanent residence permit.
Are there any special rules apply to family reunification holders? It could be for instance shorter residence period in DK and so on.
I'm asking because as I understood, there are special rules for family unification holders to apply for danish citizenship, for instance the residency period is reduced to only 6 years (normally 9 years) if your marriage with the Danish partner is over 3 years.
I'm just wondering are there any "special" rules apply to family reunification holders when they apply for permanent residence.
