I have a question regarding sending damaged passport info when extending your residence card. I have water damage to my passport and I was asked to send pages inside them and wondering if they reject saying ur passport looks damaged? I already applied for a replacement passport, but ur damaged passport is valid right until then?

As long as you can read what's written then it shouldn't be a problem. You can always attach new documentation to your case. As soon as you get the new one attach it.

Thanks for the reply. I got new passport the question is should I just say “ my passport is reissued please find attached” or shall I also say since my old was one has slight damage I requested new one?

Congratulations. How long did it take since you created the application?

my 5 year resident card is due to expiry on 26th of novemeber 2020.
i sent the application on 6th oj june where 29th of october i was asked to send all pages of my passport.

normally if you send them more than one month before i was told you get rejected but i was counting to say i want to combine eu and non eu stay as per directive but regardless they didnt ask or reject my early application.

Did you apply under EU law?
