Hello,
I came across information that in Sweden a person who holds an EU residence card can go to the Migrationsverket and ask to change it with the Swedish Uppehållstillstånd right away.
  • Does anybody know about this, so to confirm the information?
  • If this permit exchange can happen, how should it be done? just pop up unannounced in the Migrationsverket and go up to the front desk and ask for it?

A post by an active and helpful member of the ÆUG Skåne Facebook page. I could not find any online information about this particular matter, so I thought I'd ask if anyone else knows something about this procedure.
