working in croatia

Hi, I am a permanent resident in Denmark, will apply for citizenship in next June.One of the big problem i am facing is i am unable to get suitable job for almost 8 yrs in Denamrk.I went back to university and finished masters program and still unemployed after 1 yr. There is one engineering company in croatia showing interest in me, my question is can i go and work there sometime? what will be the consequence here in Denmark? If i still have address and take dispensation,is it fine? I am desperate to get some experience, same time worried with residency in Denmark. look forward to hearing from you.
