Family Reunification under national rules vs barselsvikar contract

Hej

Is it mandatory/must have a fastansat job kontrakt before one can apply for family reunification under nation rules?

I am currently having a barselsvikar contract with Vejle Kommune. When I look in my contract there is no indicate deadline but saying

"Du er ansat i en begivenhedsbestemt stilling. Tidsbegrænsningen skyldes en medarbejders fravær. Dit ansættelsesforhold ophører uden yderligere varsel, når fraværsperioden udløber.
Du vil i rimelig tid blive informeret af din leder om datoen for din fratræden"

In my Medarbejderrapport which contain my salary and function information there is indicated
Kontraktinformation
Start 01.05.2017
Slut 31.12.9999

So, if it is a requirement that one must have a fastansat job kontrakt, is it good enough with my above contract?

During the time I apply for family reunification, is my wife allow to stay here and wait for the result? Or should she come back home and wait?
