Rules about splitting assets in Danish Divorce

Hi,

My wife and I are soon getting divorced. She's a Dane and I'm a foreigner.

When it comes to assets, according to law in Denmark are public pensions (i.e., ATP) and/or private pensions (fx PFA, AP or Danica) split?

Also, does it matter if one person is older than the other? I ask because my wife is 6 years younger than me and therefore hasn't saved as much as I have. She is on track to do so - in fact she is making as much as I am now - so should be fine. Perhaps I am being greedy, I just want to make sure I'm not giving away assets that I should at least try to keep for my own retirement and for my daughter's wellbeing.

Thanks again,
FL

Don't you have an attorney to handle division of assets? Ask her.
