Schooling for a 12 year old.

Hello forum,
We are 3 nice and smart people, 2 adults and a 12 year old daughter.
The man : Well, that's me, the guy who write - a more or less normal danish guy from Copenhagen.
The woman + daughter : A smart lady with an even smarter daughter, from Moscow, Russia.
We are intending living together here in Copenhagen, and then the question arise - what about the school for the daughter?
Option 1 : International english language based school - but this is not the best solution, since the intention is to be permanently in Denmark.
Option 2 : A normal danish elementary school. That would be preferable, since it's also a way to becoming part of the normal life here.
Now to the questions
- How long time would it be necesarry for a 12 year old to stay in Denmark, for achieving the necesarry level in danish language, before being ready to enter a danish school?
- Are there any language schools (Like studieskolen, Kiss, etc) that specializes in making a young person 'school ready'?
- Are there any here, who have tried the same (I think mostly about the age of the girl - it's really in the middle/end of a school life, which makes it more complicated, compared to a little child or a grown person), and who have some advices?
