SU as a permanent resident while working abroad

Hello,
I went for a study abroad and now I have been offered a contract to work for 4 months in the country where I studied abroad (EU country).
While, I was studying abroad I was eligible to get SU. However, now when I work should I make any changes to my SU?

It depends on the salary. If it exceeds what you may earn, you must inform the SU-office, just as if you were earning the salary in DK.

First of all, thank you for the quick response!
Well, is it before or after taxes? Anyway, for the 4 months I would expect to earn ~40 000 DKK without the SU, but I would be student until the summer. Would that be an issue?

If you are not studying anymore, you are not entitled to SU, and you have to inform the SU-office about that too. It is fraud not to inform them. You are also not entitled to SU if you take a furlough in order to work, but intend to continue your studies later. The amount you are allowed to earn will increase because you don't receive SU.

No, I am studying, I will combine the time of writing my thesis with work.

There is a limit of how much you are allowed to earn while receiving SU. You can ask SU Styrelsen for advice on this issue.
