I am a person with 14 years in Denmark married to a Dane. I have held a legal opholdstillaldse since I moved here and married. We have a healthy marriage, two danish children together. (The reason I am not writing this in Danish is to spare you the grammatical errors.)
My situation:
-I have been unable to support myself for health reasons (and working history was sporadic ie not 2 consistant with 2 years in a row)
-My spouse has supported our family through my whole stay (except when I took my SSA education in 2004
-I have received diagnoses which has enabled me to receive kommune financial support the last two years.
'As you can read, my health history has thrown chaos into my chance to apply for permanent residency. I have however managed specific qualfications such as
-danish in such grade and have creditials to prove it
-can speak and write fluent danish
-have been a part of a forenging for more than 2 years 2x
-no crimes
-no debt
I have been wanting to apply for permenant opholdstillaldse the whole time I have been in Denmark. what are your thoughts? thank you!
My question: What are my options? Do I have any rights? I am to apply *sigh again for my opholdstillaldse in January.
