Can my daughter who is 19 study in Denmark

Hi I am a person who has been here 15 years, married to a Dane. My daughter would like to study in Denmark. Is this possible? I have a opholdstillelse. She is 19. Thank you!

Im sorry i had an additional question. Does my daughter need SU if she is studying in Denmark? if it is a (student loan as i understand it,) can she apply for this if I am her american mother and she is 19?

While waiting for the experts answer your question. As a person has been living in DK for sometime, I have some opinions.

- Yes, your daughter can study in Denmark if she is admitted to school over here.

You asked "Does my daughter need SU if she is studying in Denmark?".
Well, as an American citizen, your daughter will be treated as same as other international students outside EU. She can't get SU.

She can study in Denmark, but she needs to pay tuition fee which is quite expensive in Denmark, and she wont be able to apply for SU. Furthermore, she has to document that she can either support herself financially with a disposal amount of 71.000 dkr. (12 times danish SU) or have paied the tuition fee for the first semester.
