Applying and worrying for family reunification

Dear Mr/Mrs
This is my situation which I am worried about.
I am non EU person, had a 1year working permit to one of the Shengen counrty (it gave me the right to work there and to travel 90 days within 180 in Shengen area). While that time I have a Danish boyfriend, and we were visiting each other (mainly me as it was easier with my job). A few years ago I was also aupair in Denmark. At the beginning 2015 I was thinking to change the stream I already have (5 years completed education) and I applied to some education in DK. I was accepted to a course , paid a tuition fee, and decided to apply from Denmark while visiting my boyfriend and used my summer holidays with him in Denmark. But I got a refusal (as my previous diploma has another stream to one I applyed for).
we are marrying now as to be together is the main thing for us.
My boyfriend is a 35year old danish and matches all the required critea (has a job, appartment, never got anything from commune etc). I am non EU, 30, always followed all possible criterias by visas etc. None of us has never been married before, does not have kids. The only thing is the last refusal…

1. Will my prevoius refusal of student permit somehow affect my family reunication?
2. Am I allowed to apply first for 90days guest visa and then apply for family reunification from Denmark ? Or shall I rather apply for family reufication from my home country?
3. Is our case treated simple or because of a student refusal – complicated?

Thanks a lot in anvance for any information

Since the authorities have become more restrictive I would advice to go with 'safe rather than sorry' and apply for family reunion from your home country.

Okay. Thanks for your answer. Actually I was also thinking the same.
But still - how can that previous refusal affect family reunion?

We are married now, and i am just waiting for our marriage certificate to be legalized.

Today my husband talked to the Danish Immigration Service. He was told that i am allowed to apply for a turist visa and then it is possible to apply from DK for the family reunion. The only risk we are meeting is - if for any reason we get a refusal - i can get a carantine for 2 year.

I woudl really appreacite if any of you can send me a link where i can read about that.
Thank you)

Hi susik2 if its possible for you to get the turist visa then it will possible to apply for family reunification while you here, i know of a friend( from non. Eu who did the same and it worked out ( though that one was before the new Govt came in power)
Good luck Girl!
