Re: Family reunification for new born
Hej mh
thanks for your reply. Do you have some idea that immigration service will give some visa for new born baby because as i read their write like...
"if the parents forward a copy of the child's birth certificate to the Immigration Service, the child can be granted a residence permit and be registered by the relevant municipality as being a resident of Denmark."
and also write on immigration website...
"Please note that the child may lose his/her residence permit if he/she leaves Denmark.
Read more about what happens if you leave Denmark."
(i try to open the link but it not working)
And secondly if she choose treatment and born baby in government hospitals without expenses(i mean free as normal cpr holder do) . Is it possible?
i asking the questions about visa and hospital because of my and her special case(visa situation) as i wrote in my above post.

Re: Family reunification for new born
Your wife CAN NOT get free help in connection with the birth, regardless. You must expect to have to pay something between 30.000 and 50.000 DKK, if your wife gives birth in DK.
Getting free help in connection with pregnancy and birth is only possible for those who have already applied for family reunification, fulfill the demands, but have not yet been granted it (that is: to apply well knowing that you do not qualify will NOT get you a free treatment).
Since your wife already knows that she is pregnant, she will also most likely NOT be able to get a traveling/health insurance that will cover costs in connection with the birth.
AND let me make this crystal clear: Denmark DOES NOT give citizenship according to WHERE a child is born.
Citizenship is given on the basis of blood only. Your child will NOT get Danish citizenship by being born in DK, and will not have any better chance of getting a residence permit because of being born in DK.
