Hello,

As far as I understand, the parents will share custody of the child in case of divorce. But im wondering about having sole custody over my child and the father will have visitation rights only.

What are the requirements/ conditions in order to have sole custody? I dont have Danish citizenship yet, the father is danish but i have better income. Our child is only 3 months old.

It is btw not income that is important for whether a parent gets sole custody or not. The best interest of the child is the main concern, and the child's best interest is not a rich parent, but rather a caring parent.
