for Eu P.R...
for Eu P.R...
Hej to all
first of all I will say about this forum really helpful for getting some answers. related many problems for visa etc..so
As I have now 5 year eu card(I am non EU) on the base on married for EU.national. after
our divorced I am staying because marriage was lasted more than 3 years.
My question is now in this year I will apply(Nov.) for permanent resident in statforvaltningen (after completing 5 years ). As i know at the time of apply permanent resident for non Eu family member must have to show that they working or can support themselves.
Now I am jobless and on A-kasse from last some months...but I have some saving so I can show I hope at the time of apply PR my bank statement as I know 70000 kr for a year..
So what you think is it ok? or it can be problem when I go for PR..OR they can reject my application because I am now jobless and when I got this 5 year I was working ...is it possible they can look like this way and normal they issues this PR card easily to non Eu national (statforvaltningen)..because as I heard they making day by day some strict rules for non eu..
very thanks in advance for your reply..

Re: for Eu P.R...
You don't need to worry as long as you have money in the bank and a steady income (that includes money from a-kassen).
Re: for Eu P.R...
hej skaanebo
Many thanks for your reply to me..Kan you tell me little more about steady income. i mean as you wrote if I have save money..
So must have to show both together bank statement and løn slip from my A-kassen?

Re: for Eu P.R...
Yes, either will do.
If you have money in the bank, it should at least cover your costs of living for the next 12 months to be sufficient. So the amount depends on your expenses.

Re: for Eu P.R...
As long as you find a new job, before your dagpenge expire, you will be fine. Since the period with dagpenge has been cut to two years, and since it takes 12 month to earn the right to a new one, the situation is however one, you should take seriously.
You can not just lean back and wait doing some serious search for a new job until you have been unemployed for 18 or 20 month already. The sooner you find a new job, the better and more safe your situation will be.

Actually i know this dagpenge finish after 2 years..my question which i got some how answer from skaanebo but can you explain me little more with detail..
i will apply in nov. 2015 for Permanent Residence in statforvaltning..(i am non EU national but "RETAINED RESIDENCE RIGHTS")
i am now on dagpenge and i can continue them til next year 2016(for 2 years max)..
My question is now when i will apply PR in statforvaltning "so can i show my earning source from A-Kasse will they accept it"??

Re: for Eu P.R...
A-kasse is accepted as income but if it's enough money to qualify depends on your actual living expenses.
Re: for Eu P.R...
I would start with Thanking you all of you behind this forum for advising us. This is very helpful for us.
I have similar question/situation as 'Chriz', I can see 'Chriz' in a very first message he mentioned he got to permit to stay after divorce because he was married with an EU-citizen for more than 3 years.
I wanted to ask is that a law and can it apply in my situation as well, i'm married with an Eu citizen as family reunification and also holding a house property in my name.
Thank you.
