Dear people,
I am having problems with getting my visa at a foreign embassy in East Africa. After many months of waiting I have recieved notice from the school and a verification from the Danish Office that I have gotten the visa I applied for. But the ladies at the Embassy keep on lettting me wait and will not give me an appointment. It is very frustrating. What can I do, I have written emails, called and gone there in person?
Would MUCH appriciate some advice,
Sincerly,

Maybe file a complaint to the foreign ministry in Denmark (Udenrigsministeriet), since they are responsible for all danish embassys.
Or forward all your email correspondence to:
raadgivning@aegteskabudengraenser.dk
Then maybe - just maybe - we can get the attention of the embassador......

Thanks very much for the reply (-.
We will try one last time to contact Denmark and see if they will help because it is the Norwegian Embassy and not a Danish Embassy that handles the visa in my home country.
I only have one worry. If I push too hard can it affect my visa?
Sincerly,

In that case it is the norwegian foreign ministry, which is responsible, and the danish foreign minitry can do nothing for you. If the visa was granted by Udlændingestyrelsen in Denmark, maybe they can help you push the embassy a bit.

Yes, I was fearing that.. Then I will try to contact Styrelsen for arbejdsmarked og rekruttering which is the unit that granted the visa and sent notice to the Norwegian Embassy.
Thanks Again,

Yes do that, they should "knock in the table" and ask the norwegian embassy to take their work serious. That is hardly to much to ask, since Denmark is actually paying Norway for this representation agreement, and you have paid an application fee as well.

Yes, seriously, I lack Words.
Now, the Norwegian Embassy wrote to us that they cannot find any decision from Denmark and Denmark says they sent the decision on July 4th 2014. The Whole thing is ???
Tomorrow, we will pressure Again in Denmark and at the Norwegian Embassy, but so much time and ressources serveral people have to use on it, unbelieable.
Thanks you for your advice and support. It is MUCH appriciated by us. We are happy to be members of ÆUG (-.

Unfortunatly its not the first time, a decision was lost between US or SFR and the embassy, and it has happened at danish embassys as well. If it can not be found, I suppose SFR just have to send it again.

Yes, that is exactly what we asked them to do - to resend the case. Unfortunately, time is just going and we just sit waiting for them to do their job /-.
