renewal of convention travel document in Denmark.

Hi Marriage without borders, i have a residence permit in Denmark on grounds of family reunification and i have a refugee status (July 1951 convention) from Romania.I am currently using the convention travel passport issued by Romania.
My question is, can i apply for a renewal of this convention travel document here in Denmark?
Or will i have to be going to Romania every 2 years to renew my passport? For i need it each time i shall renew my residence permit here. Thanks for understanding.
