Hi,

I would like to ask a question about A2 exam/replaceable exams & deadline.
I passed A1 last July and would like to take A2 in order to put down the deposit.
The deadline for A2 (for me) is 01-06-2014, but one of my teachers informed me that
if I pass Prøve i Dansk 3 this May/June, it is not neccessary for me to take A2.

However, the exam does not finish before the first of June, because
the date of the speaking part is between 12. and 25. June.
IN THIS CASE, does my deadline get "3 extra months" lengthened?
If so, what should I do?

+
I wonder for how long I am allowed to stay in my home country in one visit.
(So it does not affect the next application for my resident permit )
To add extra information about myself, I am an asian girl at 27 and have been in
a marriage with a dane for 2 years.

Thanks for your help in advance :)

To have the deposit reduced, you must take the test on time, so no you can not get a 3 month extention.

However I would strongly consider, if its even worthwhile to take it. There is a fee of about 2.500-3.000 DKK, so its a really expensive way to get the deposit reduced by 10.000 DKK. And the whole deposit is released anyway, when you get permanent residence permit after 5 years.

So the easier and cheaper way is to just look at it as a sort of savings account and leave the 10.000 DKK in the bank for another 4 years or so.
