Hello !

I have submitted two applications, one under EU rules and the other is under Swedish rules. I applied around August this year and the waiting times were 6 months for EU rules and a little bit more for the Swedish rules. The waiting times were updated on the 15th of october to 14 months to both applications. I know that when they update something on their website that means it will be applied on the new applications and the applications that were sent before the update will follow the old waiting times. Am i correct? should my application follow the 6 months frame or the 14 months frame? I tried to contact my case officer but i didn't get an answer and the receptionists don't know details.

You could be lucky and get it in less than a month, like i did and many others i personally know.
Howeverrrrr, i heard that migrationsverket is overflowing with work and cases piled up due to the blanket asylum that was recently given to like 15,000 Syrian refugees in Sweden. Case workers are even quitting due to stress and are having nervous breakdowns etc.

I sent my application for permanent residence in Sept and still havent heard from them yikes.
Do keep us updated yea n good luck
