Get Marrid in Denmark then Immegrate to the States

Hi ÆUG.
It seems rather difficult to get the full picture of it all.
As a US citizen I do not need to create a VISA to enter a Schenken country or Denmark, but I need to present one if I want to marry. In that case I need to file the VU2 form with my fiancé saying nothing about getting Married. When I get a VISA, I will be allowed to travel to any EU country within the time period that my VISA is valid. What happens when it expires? will I not be allowed to travel to the EU again, without a VISA that was not required in the first place?
Since I have work that require that I travel to the Netherlands once a month, it would be a disaster if I was not allowed to travel to the EU without VISA, just because I was once granted one I always need one does not make sence!
It is the Section 8.D on the VU2 that is of concern.
The purpose of all this is to get married in Denmark and for us to live in the US afterwards.
Kind regard
Sternsen
