Separation,Student,SU

A pleasant day to everyone,

I am married to a danish man and we are not living together for 3 months now. I am a university student going on my 5th semester this September and is receiving SU grant.

Since me and my husband are not going well and I would really like to finish my studies, I have submitted an application for a student visa (still on process) since the last 2 months. Currently, I hold a FamReU temporary residence that is valid until February, 2016. My husband did not file any divorce paper until now.

My question are:

1. If my student visa application is approved, will I lose my SU Grant?

2. On my application document, the school has ticked "Non-fee-paying full-degree student". Do I need to pay the tuition myself to finish 3 more semesters when I only hold a student permit visa?

Thank you very much for your brilliant and most helpful advices.

Sincerely,
Ane

If your current residence permit is revoked, then most likely the answer to both of your questions are "yes". However there might be some hope, that both SU-styrelsen and the university will fail to notice, that your status has changed, and take action on it. I have never heard of any cases like this, and the subject lies somewhat outside the scope of ÆUG`s work, so we are really not experts on the matter.
