Aurpair contract vs marriage

Im a Danish guy and my girlfriend is from Nepal. We have been together almost 1 year. I have a plan to continue my education and I have been applying for job too. Since we love eachother and want to spend life together in nearest future I am concerned for her limited stay in Denmark. She lives here as an aupair, her contract ends on 4th of February 2014 and her Danish visa too expires on the same date. So what should we do if we need to process the required documents for family reunification, since we cannot get married until her contract ends? Does she have to leave the contract before her visa expires?

Your girlfriend will have to have legal residence in order for you two to get married if you want it to take place in DK. So you will have to get married before her contract + visa expires. However,It is not so that the police will be waiting outside of the place where you get married, ready to deport your wife

So plan to apply for marriage license about a month before her contract expires (expect 2-3 weeks of waiting time between applying for and receiving the license), and apply for family reunion, say a week before her visa expires. Most likely your then wife will be allowed to stay while her application is being handled.
