Hello all members who have been dealing with family reunifications laws of Denmark.
My name is Shahab, an Iranian film maker living in Malmo/Sweden currently. I have just created a Facebook group called: "Lovely Border".
The goal of the group are:
- Gathering information regarding the number of couples who have had issues with Danish laws in Family Reunification and their stories
- The group will be a big help to these couples and activists to be in closer touch in order to help make some changes in our common problem.
- Helping a documentary film to be made about this matter

Good idea with your group and good luck with your film project. Looking forward hearing more about it.
Also I could advise you to get on the mailing list of the Southern Sweden Network. The ÆUG-SE arrange network, social activities among other things.
You are able to sign up through the danish ÆUG website (in the tab : contact, above), but you don't have to be a ÆUG member to get on the mailing-list.
We encourage you to become a member of the mother organisation if you can afford it.
They are able to help you with legal stuff etc. We can provide you with a ring of new friends, if you don't have any when you move to Sweden. It can be hard especially in the beginning you move there. We are here to help with everyday stuff in Sweden. We meet once every second month for a gathering with food and families. We are also planning to start an indoor football team.
Also there is another group on facebook for social activities called the Misk Mask Network.
