permanent residence and Job condition

Hi,

I am so sorry to ask this stupid question. But one of my friends who have relocated to Denmark from another European country has put this doubt in my mind so I am curious to clear it.

He said that in europe even if you have a permanent residence card, it gets elapsed automatically if you are unemployed for continuous 6 months. though it is not mentioned in the papers that I received from immigration when I was granted my PR but I am still curious to know from the experts here that is that true for Denmark also.

Please throw some light.

Next time someone says something like that, ask that person to show you the law in writing there it states such nonsense.
