I can see here that a residence permit can be terminated if I live abroad for more than 6 (or 12) months. But that page is in the "Work" section and it looks like it is only related to temporary residence permits. The section Permanent residence does not say anything about termination.
Can anybody give me reliable information on this matter? Preferably, with a reference to an official source.
Thank you in advance!
Is permanent residence permit preserved when living abroad?

Re: Is permanent residence permit preserved when living abroad?
If you have a permanent residence permit it is not more permanent than you a a general rule will lose it if you stay outside of DK for more than 12 successive months. In special cases you MAY be allowed to keep it, but you have to apply BEFORE 12 months have passed.
