Worries and divorce

Indlæg af Sam2025 » 02.12.2014 23:51:58

Hej!!
I am a :( guy from Egypt. I was married to a woman from Poland about 2 years ago from EU rules and we have one child together and I am working as full time since 1 year. Now I am in doubt that my wife is not right woman to live with many reasons. I want to know if we divorce now. Should I go back to my country. I am fade up with woman. I wish to go back to my place and start my new life happily but I have my child here. I love her a lot so I cannot leave this country too. I feel that I am stucked. I have some questions::
1. I have 5 years stay permit. If we divorce now can I stay until that 5 years time?
2. Can I stay here in Denmark if I am allowed to visit my daughter (see her one in a week or in every 2 week or bla bla)
3. If she left to Poland suddenly after we divorce, can I still live here?
4. Is there any other way that I can live in Denmark and be close with my child?
Awaiting for your answers!!
Hilsen,
Sam

There is no personnel on a payroll here, only volunteers, so you have to be patient.

This link here answers some of your questions:

If your wife leaves DK, it doesn't matter whether you are divorced or not, you will lose your EU-residence right in DK.

There is a possibility that you may be allowed to stay in DK if your child lives there.

You have not had your job long enough to keep/change your residence right to a residence permit on basis of your job: https://www.nyidanmark.dk/en-us/coming_ ... -in-dk.htm
