Hej to all

Can any body have some info.about housing system or rule in danmark i am living in copenhagen kommune and in rental apartment and my address also here(i mean contract on my name) so now my question is

that can i take now other apartment on rent in same copenhagen kommune or some other kommune and on my name ...i am here now talking about only rent apartment i mean not andel or ejer bolig. i hope to get answer thanks

You can only be registered with an address in one location. And for most rental apartments it is a requirement that you take up your legal residence there. So that means it will not be possible for you to rent two apartments at the same time if you rent from a housing company. If you rent privately from a person, it might be different.

Thanks for your quick reply to me...i understand it not maybe possible for take rental apartment 1 person on two different kummune or in same...but what your idea for buying i mean andel or ejer houses i mean is it possible? for 1 person can buy it own apartment like andel and at same time he living in rent apartment...further on he can give his buying apartment on rent for example

There are pretty strict rules about 'andelsbolig' - one of them being that the owner of the 'andel' has to live in the apartment.

In order to buy a house or flat in Denmark as a foreigner there are also rules - one of them being that you have to have been living in DK at least 5 years. I would not be surprised if this rule also applies to 'andelsbolig'.
